She will always be HANOI JANE!
Can you imagine this? Thirty-three years after "Hanoi" Jane Fonda went to North Vietnam and had her picture taken with our then enemies admits that her posing for photos on an enemy anti-aircraft gun which was a betrayal of the American Forces and the country that gave her privilege.

However, she doesn’t regret doing broadcasts on enemy radio where she told American soldiers that they were wrong for what they were doing. She doesn’t regret visiting American prisoners of war. One of whom she is rumored to have gotten killed when she betrayed their trust in her.

The story has it that while Jane Fonda was visiting American prisoners of war, one of the soldiers passed her a note hoping that she would pass it on to his family so they could know he was still alive. Jane Fonda accepted the note with a smile and then handed it over to the prisoners captors. The soldier was executed later for trying to smuggle out a message.

Jane Fonda is entitled to her opinions. She, like everyone in this country is entitled to say anything they want. And like her, so I am able to say anything I want.

Even though I was only a child when Jane Fonda was betraying the men and women who protect this country, I still feel a burning disgust for this woman. I understand that she thought what she was doing was a protest against the actions of this countries leadership. I applaud her on her willingness to do something, anything to try and bring attention to that fact.

But the things she did were not aimed at the controlling powers of this country. What she did was a stab in the back to every man and woman that fought that war. She just suffers from a monumental lack of common sense and moral character. She needs to realize that her actions shredded the souls of the soldiers who were fighting in a war that no one wanted to be in.
